The What’s With Weed program was developed by Parent Action on Drugs (PAD) to reduce problematic cannabis use among youth. The program includes a website with interactive self-assessment tools and education and support resources, and a secondary school-based peer-led education program designed to challenge students’ attitudes and perceptions regarding the risks of cannabis use during adolescence.
For more than 30 years, PAD has provided innovative, evidence-based programs and resources for youth, families, professionals and community members concerning issues that impact substance use and youth. Our vision is healthy and informed youth, families, and communities. PAD is an Ontario-based non-profit organization whose programs and resources are used in communities across Canada.
